Role Description
This part-time independent contractor position is based in Twin Falls, ID. Anticipated hours are approximately 10 per month. The Exchange Student Local Coordinator (LC) will be responsible for overseeing the experiences of international students, including providing guidance, managing relationships with host families and schools, and ensuring compliance with program policies. Responsibilities include helping secure host families, monitoring student well-being, conducting monthly in-person student visits, coordinating orientations, participating in team training sessions, and addressing challenges that may arise. The Exchange Student Coordinator will contribute to ETC’s mission of promoting cross-cultural understanding and providing high-quality support for students and host families.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written, to interact confidently with diverse groups and cultures.
- Ability to address and resolve issues with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. (Training provided.)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Willingness to engage with the community to find host families.
