| Our Career Transition Specialists assist students to obtain employment, enlist in the military, enroll in college, and with relocation, child care and transportation needs. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who make a difference in the lives of our students each and every day. |
MAIN DUTIES:
• Provide transition services to separating and separated students
• Establish relationships with employers, colleges and other entities
• Refer students to community-based services when needed
• Maintain regular contact with placed and not-placed students
• Conduct exit interviews with separating students
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time working weekdays during regular business hours
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Social or Human Services, Education, Counseling or related field (or Associate’s degree with two years of relevant experience); one year of work experience in workforce development, marketing or placement; and valid Minnesota driver’s license with acceptable driving record
PAY AND BENEFITS: $43,888 per year plus bonus and benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
