Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dry wall and plumbing repairs. Provide HVAC and household routine maintenance in a healthcare settings. Agency locations in Polk, Highlands and Hardee Counties. Own tools a plus!. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, supervising projects, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform repairs and installations, ensuring all work is accurately completed .
- Execute maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Execute residential painting projects as needed.
- Execute the completion of special projects as assigned, may include, but not limited to, hurricane preparation, hanging Christmas lights, cleaning out storage spaces, snaking out drains, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
