What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Registered Nurse position at EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER?
Position: Substitute Registered Nurse
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Maintain established schedule, routines, and procedures of the school nurse on the assigned campus
- Ensure the health and welfare of students and staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Registered Nurse
- Provide original transcripts showing degree(s) from an accredited professional nursing education program
- Valid license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
- CPR, AED and basic first aid certification
- Clearance of criminal history background check
- Clearance of fingerprinting
- Substitute orientation will not be required for a Nurse substitute but the substitute will need to contact Lead Nurse, Erica Hollister at, ehollister@dickinsonisd.org
