Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment. As the first point of contact for students, families, and visitors, the Administrative Assistant ensures smooth communication and helps facilitate a productive and professional school atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities an Administrative Assistant
· Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
· Mail student report cards, school brochures, and other necessary forms.
· Greet and assist visitors, providing directions and information as needed.
· Contribute to school communications, including bulletins and newsletters.
· Assists in creating promotional and informational materials for parents.
· Issue tardy slips and maintain accurate attendance records.
· Maintains records of student absences.
· Sort and distribute mail delivered to the school office.
· Contact parents regarding student illness or disciplinary concerns.
· Maintains student records and files.
· Uses computer database or filing system to update records as necessary.
· Leads and/or assists with the submission of state-mandated student account reports such as MCIRS, MSDS, etc…).
· Ensure all staff are added to the timeclock system within two days of hire.
· Manage and updates the school calendar.
· Provides administrative support to principal or other upper-level administrator as needed.
· Perform related duties as required and requested by supervisor.

· Is capable of handling confidential student records in a responsible fashion.
· Demonstrates familiarity with basic office equipment such as multi-line phones, fax machines, and scanners.
· Fluent in Arabic (Preferred)
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
·Experience in office administration or a school setting preferred.
· Comfort working with the public in a fast-paced environment.
· Criminal records clearance
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $42,000.00 per year
