Title: Program & Partnerships Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Director of Strategy & Impact

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program & Partnerships Coordinator supports the coordination and

implementation of the Education Foundation’s student programs. This position supports the delivery 

of Future-Ready Initiatives, while also contributing to cross-sector collaboration through PLANit 

Sarasota. This role plays a central part in ensuring high-quality program delivery, strong student 

engagement, and effective coordination with schools and community partners. The Coordinator manages 

logistics, communications, and data tracking across multiple initiatives, helping translate 

strategy into consistent execution.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to 

manage multiple priorities and work effectively across internal teams and external partners.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Program & Partnership Coordination

• Support student onboarding, participation tracking, and engagement follow-up

• Maintain program calendars, communications, and alignment across staff, schools, and families, 

and community partners

• Support relationship management with key partners, including regular communication, follow-up, 

and coordination of shared work

• Coordinate communication with students, families, schools, and community partners to support 

participation and retention

• Provide coordination support for career exploration and postsecondary pathway 

initiatives


Events, Workshops & Convening Support

• Coordinate all logistics for student-facing events

• Coordinate all logistics and communication for PLANit Sarasota General and Steering Committee 

meetings, convenings, and FAFSA open houses; support planning and execution, including scheduling, 

materials, and on-site coordination

• Assist in coordinating guest speakers, vendors, and community partners

Data, Reporting & Communication

• Track and maintain accurate program and partnership data (attendance, engagement, 

outcomes)

• Support preparation of reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external 

stakeholders

• Assist with communication materials, including newsletters, emails, and program updates

Operations & Administrative Coordination

• Manage action items and coordination across multiple workstreams

• Identify needs in workflows and proactively support solutions to keep work moving forward and 

connected

• Track action items and ensure follow-through across multiple initiatives

• Manage materials, supplies, and documentation needed for program delivery



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, nonprofit management, communications, 

or related field

• 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, partnerships, or project management

• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple 

priorities

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to work across teams and with diverse stakeholders (students, families, educators, 

community partners)

• Experience with data tracking and reporting

• Familiarity with education, workforce, or nonprofit environments preferred


Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Sarasota County’s education, nonprofit, or workforce landscape.

• Experience coordinating events or collaborative initiatives.

• Experience supporting partnership-based or cross-sector initiatives.
