If you are an RBT who enjoys being on campus, collaborating with teachers, and helping students succeed in real classrooms, this role may be a strong fit.We are dedicated to the students, families, and schools of Oakland and the surrounding community, and we are committed to showing up with consistency, professionalism, and care.Who We AreEBC is a behavior agency that partners with local school districts to support autistic and neurodivergent students in:General education classroomsSpecial education programsBehavior-focused / intensive support classroomsSmall group and 1:1 instructional settingsOur culture is:Collaborative and supportive, with regular communication and shared problem-solvingTraining-focused, prioritizing coaching, modeling, and ongoing professional developmentStudent-centered, with an emphasis on dignity, independence, and meaningful, measurable progressCommunity-focused, with a strong commitment to serving Oakland schools with reliability and integrityWhat Youll Do (School-Based RBT Role)As a school-based RBT, you will:Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral and academic support to students throughout the school dayImplement ABA-based strategies in classrooms, on the playground, and in other school settingsSupport goals related to communication, social skills, academics, and behavior regulationFollow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA and school teamCollect clear, accurate data on student progress and behaviorCollaborate with teachers, support staff, and BCBAs to maintain consistency and alignmentModel calm, professional behavior during both routine and challenging situationsContribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom and school environmentThis is an active, on-your-feet position that involves moving with students across campus throughout the day.Schedule & Availability (Required)This position is school-based with consistent daytime hours:Approximately 30 hours per weekRequired availability (non-negotiable):Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PMFollows the general school calendar, with potential adjusted opportunities during school breaks (trainings, special projects, etc.)Because this role is directly tied to student and classroom schedules, open availability from 8:003:00 PM, MondayFriday, is required.RBT Certification (Required)For this position:A current RBT certification is requiredCandidates must be in good standing with the BACB and able to provide verification of active RBT statusWho You AreWe are looking for RBTs who:Enjoy working with children and teens in a school settingCan consistently commit to daytime school hours (8:003:00 PM, MondayFriday)Are patient, calm, and able to maintain professionalism in busy or challenging environmentsCan follow structured plans and are open to coaching and constructive feedbackCommunicate respectfully with students, school staff, and EBC colleaguesAre dependable, punctual, and take pride in delivering high-quality supportHelpful (but not required) background:Prior school-based experience (paraeducator/IA, classroom aide, behavioral support staff, etc.)Experience in ABA, special education, or related fieldsWhat We OfferStructured training and onboarding specific to school-based ABA workOngoing support and supervision from BCBAs and clinical leadershipOpportunities to maintain and grow your skills as an RBTA supportive school services team that values communication, professionalism, and growthA culture that emphasizes respect, collaboration, and realistic expectationsThe opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on students lives in Oakland
