What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Nursing Faculty position at Education Affiliates?
Opportunities are available primarily for day time positions beginning at 6:30am with the opportunity for weekend coverage as needed and may be staffed on a full-time, part-time or adjunct basis.
Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing Direct clinical supervision of up to 8 students
- Completing all required clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Conducting effective pre and post-conferences
- Providing meaningful and regular evaluation of students’ performance and progression
- Facilitating learning and student development
- Communicating effectively and professionally with faculty, students and clinical agency staff
- Attending orientation and end of semester meeting
Qualifications:
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Nursing
- Current Pennsylvania Nursing License
- Current Health Care BLS/AED certification
- Minimum of 3 years medical-surgical/long term care nursing experience (preferred)
- Previous Clinical Adjunct Experience (preferred)
