Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an HVAC program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
- Certification:
- HVAC - required
- EPA Universal - required
- NATE Certification is not required but desired
- Journeyman HVAC is desired but not required
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC Technician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
