Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Welding Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Welding courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of a Welding program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
- Certification:
- Certified Welder (required)
- Certified Welding Educator - highly desired but not required
- At least three years of experience as a Welder
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results-driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
