Qualifications
- Hold or be able to attain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver License) with required endorsements.
- Have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Pass required DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screening. (After an employment offer is made.)
- Pass a background check.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure passenger safety.
- Follow planned route to ensure proper departure times and stops.
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is operating properly.
- Report fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers.
- Report delays, accidents, and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of the bus as needed.
- Enforce safety rules on the bus at all times.
