What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Coordinator position at Educare Springfield?
The Office Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and School Director of Educare Springfield. This role requires a proactive and organized individual capable of handling a wide range of administrative tasks, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the smooth operation of executive support and school operations. Additionally, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time efficiently will be important components of this job. Also, strong organizational support and exemplary customer service skills with internal and external partners are required. Other key responsibilities will include:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Become proficient in the components of the Educare model and Educare Learning Network
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and leadership in order to coordinate support/events/etc. as needed.
- Welcome families, staff, and visitors to Educare Springfield in ways that are warm and without bias and align with safety and security expectations.
- Coordinate, reserve, set up, and confirm training rooms and all Educare spaces as needed. Coordination with IT/agencies for necessary training equipment.
- Create fliers, memos, social media posts, reminders, etc. for staff and parents as needed in both English and Spanish
- Oversee and maintain contact databases including mailing lists, emergency contact lists, donor database, vendor/contact list, etc.
- Maintain existing administrative systems for support such as telephone response, filing, inventory, ordering, etc. systems and make suggestions for efficiency as needed
- Update building leadership with any building issues as they arise
- Schedule maintenance visits as the need arises (with leadership approval)
- Provide other professional assistance and support to leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of projects for Educare Springfield as needed
- Attend all appropriate workshops and complete professional training as required
- Complete EEC background check and fingerprinting as required by licensing
- Drug and alcohol testing as required
- Maintain current, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile insurance and have a dependable car.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
