Job Summary
We are seeking Paraprofessionals / Instructional Support Aides to assist teachers, support students with academic and behavioral needs, and help maintain an organized, productive learning environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about education, special education, and student growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher with classroom management and instruction
- Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support
- Assist students with special needs (including behavioral or mobility support)
- Monitor students during transitions, lunch, recess, and school activities
- Implement behavior plans as directed by teachers or specialists
- Document progress and communicate observations to teachers
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Perform additional classroom duties as needed by the district
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or Associates Degree (some districts require 60 college credits or ParaPro certification)
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with children of diverse needs
- Willingness to complete required district or agency training
Preferred Qualifications
- ParaPro Assessment certification- We will prepare you for the certification
- Experience working with children or in education
- Experience in special education, ABA, or behavioral support- (optional but preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (optional, but preferred)

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
