EduCare Early Learning Center is looking for caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Child Care Teachers to join our team!

Position Details

Position: Child Care Teacher
Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available
Typical Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $13–$15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

● Provide safe, nurturing, and responsive care to children.

● Actively supervise children and maintain a safe classroom environment.

● Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families.

● Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities and play experiences.

● Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

● Use positive guidance and redirection to help children learn appropriate behaviors.

● Follow classroom schedules, routines, and EduCare policies.

● Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios and follow all required safety procedures.

● Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, meals, nap routines, and other daily care needs as appropriate for the classroom.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.

● Communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers and families.

● Complete required training and participate in ongoing professional development.

● Work cooperatively as part of the EduCare team.

● Follow Tennessee child-care licensing requirements and center policies.
