What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Educare Children's Center?
We have immediate openings for an energetic, self-motivated teacher who is committed to fostering a nurturing learning environment and supporting character development. Creativity and innovative ideas are welcomed and encouraged. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, working with children ages 18 to 36 months.
The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the needs of others, and build positive relationships with children while fulfilling job responsibilities in alignment with the program’s philosophy. Candidates must maintain a professional attitude at all times and communicate openly and effectively. The teacher should serve as a positive role model, demonstrating the values, attitudes, and behaviors that support a successful learning environment.
Job Requirements
- 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including 3 semester units in Infant/Toddler Development
- Teaching experience (preferred)
- Montessori Early Childhood training (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Current negative TB test, CPR and First Aid certification, and Live Scan (required)
- Fingerprint clearance prior to employment (required
