Summary
Edu1st is seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher (Toddlers and Twos preferred experience) to join our dynamic team in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This role is essential in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners, supporting their growth through the VESS educational model.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the VESS Model.
- Create a safe, warm, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
- Lead daily classroom activities and apply effective classroom management strategies.
- Support the individual developmental needs of toddlers and twos, including children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to strengthen instructional practices within the preschool.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working specifically with toddlers and two-year-old children is highly preferred.
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Ability to foster an inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Strong English communication skills required. Bilingual (English–Spanish) is highly preferred.
