Duties
- Safely operate school transportation vehicles along designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
- Assist students in boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support as needed to ensure their safety
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a secure transportation environment
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance or safety issues before each route
- Maintain accurate records of student ridership, route times, and vehicle condition reports
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and dispatchers regarding transportation schedules or issues
- Promote a positive, respectful atmosphere onboard the vehicle to foster a welcoming environment for students
Requirements
- YOU WILL USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE.
- YOUR VEHICLE NEED TO BE AT LEAST 12 YEARS OLD OR NEWER.
- MUST BE LOCATED IN SAN RAMON AROUND SILICON VALLEY AREA
- WE ARE LOOKING FOR DRIVER IN SAN JOSE, SAN RAMON, SILICON VALLEY VALLEY AREA
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles in accordance with local regulations
- Clean driving record with no major violations or infractions within the past few years
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening required by law or company policy
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude toward students and staff
- Ability to work flexible hours aligned with school schedules, including mornings and afternoons
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures preferred but not required
- Prior experience in driving or working with children is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
