Speech Language Pathology Assistant (Full-Time, Contract Hire)

Full-time onsite School-Based SLPAs needed for the upcoming school year with our district partners! Join a supportive team where you’ll work alongside SLPs to help students build essential communication skills and succeed in the classroom. Make a meaningful impact every day in a collaborative, student-focused environment!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activities
• Reinforce communication strategies in individual and group settings
• Monitor and document student progress, reporting updates to supervising SLPs
• Support teachers and staff in integrating speech and language goals into classroom activities
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders preferred)
• Active SLPA license/certification in the state of MD (per state requirements for school-based practice)
• Knowledge of speech and language development
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
