Speech language pathologist Assistant

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students with communication needs in Belchertown MA. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help implement speech and language services for students across grade levels.Responsibilities:Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLPAssist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activitiesReinforce communication strategies in individual and group settingsMonitor and document student progress, reporting updates to supervising SLPsSupport teachers and staff in integrating speech and language goals into classroom activitiesMaintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelinesParticipate in professional development and stay current with best practicesQualifications:Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders preferred)Active SLPA license/certification in the state of MA (per state requirements for school-based practice)Knowledge of speech and language developmentExperience working with school-aged children preferredStrong collaboration and communication skillsWork in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidaysJoin a therapist-owned organization that values your expertise and supports you throughout the school yearReceive access to quality materials, professional development resources, and CEU reimbursementCome join a therapist-owned organization that values your expertise and supports you throughout the school year.
