What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at EDU Healthcare?
We are seeking a skilled, student-focused School Psychologist to join our Oregon team for the 12026-2027 school year! This position plays a key role in supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success through assessment, consultation, and collaboration with school teams.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and support stuåçdents with mental health and behavioral needs
- Provide individual and small group counseling services to students
- Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs
- Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions
- Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience working in schools or with children required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators
