Occupational Therapist Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide services to exceptional children students in the Lexington, SC school district.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with special needs.
- Evaluate, screen, and observe students to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Write evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans to support student success.
- Communicate and coordinate therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting student needs.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an ACOTE accredited university.
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification, or ability to obtain.
- Experience working in schools or with children preferred, but not required.
