Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and licensed Teacher of the Deaf with fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to support students in a school-based setting for the 2026–2027 academic year in Longmeadow, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Utilize fluent American Sign Language (ASL) for communication and instruction
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with school staff, service providers, and families to support student success
• Foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment
  
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts certification/licensure as required by MA state law
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
