Job Title: Substitute Special Education Teacher – MLL
Location: Burrillville, RI
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Schedule & Duration:
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–2:15 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: TBD
- Approximately 16 Middle School Students
- Provide specialized instruction and support for multilingual learners (MLL) in special education settings
- Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs and district standards
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Rhode Island regulations
- Rhode Island Special Education Teacher Certification with MLL endorsement/certification (required)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Bi- Weekly pay through agency payroll
