Certified Special Education Teacher (Kindergarten) Location: Yonkers, NY

School Year: 2026-2027

Pay: $46–$53/hour (based on experience)

EDU-AIDs is seeking dedicated and compassionate full time Special Education Teacher to support kindergarten students in Yonkers, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. We have full-time opportunity available with kindergarten grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, school administrators, and families to support student success.
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic, behavioral, and social growth.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and district requirements.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York Special Education Teaching License for Kindergarten.
• Minimum one year of experience in a Special Education classroom.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
