Position Overview


We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Intervention Specialist to support students with diverse educational needs in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences, implement individualized instructional plans, and work closely with educators and families to promote student growth.

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop, review, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines. 
•  Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on students' academic and behavioral goals. 
•  Partner with classroom teachers, related service providers, and parents to support student achievement. 
•  Track student performance, document progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed. 
•  Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional development. 
•  Participate in IEP meetings, team collaboration, and professional development activities. 

Qualifications

•  Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License required. 
•  Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus. 
•  Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs in a school setting. 
•  Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills. 
•  Ability to develop effective instructional strategies and maintain accurate student records.
