Edson Hill is looking for a part-time Event Manager to help grow our Events Team. Edson Hill is a 22-room, full-service luxury inn and restaurant where our guests experience the serenity of a secluded retreat that feels a million miles away while having easy access to endless local attractions in every season. The Event Manager will provide our guests with a first-class event experience from beginning to end. Event sizes range from 15 - 200 , and include weddings, birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, corporate events, and more. The primary focus of the Event Manager is servicing all events booked by the Sales Team. You will liaise with the Sales Manager, Executive Chef, and Front of House teams to ensure that we exceed customer expectations. Your duties will include controlling the cost and quality of services, preparing the venue, working with vendors and coordinating the service of meals. A flexible schedule will be required as hours may vary seasonally and due to contracted event times.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of Event Management experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Computer literate with above-average proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite). Experience with TripleSeat, WebRezPro, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of wedding events preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented with good organizational and follow-through skills.
- Impeccable presentation.
- Able to stand/walk 8-10 or more hours per day.
