Psychiatrists Needed ($240,000-$260,000/yr)
Workforce1 Healthcare Career Center is partnering with top NYC healthcare providers to connect qualified Psychiatrists to an immediate opening at a healthcare organization in the Bronx.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients referred by Primary Care Providers (PCPs) using evidence-based tools.
- Treat behavioral health conditions using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral activation.
- Make treatment recommendations.
- Refer patients to psychiatrists as appropriate.
- Monitor treatment through clinical documentation and coordinate with other health providers and health homes.
- Provide crisis intervention services and risk assessments as needed.
- Engage clients with limited behavioral health service utilization through outreach efforts.
- Document services in a timely fashion.
Job Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychiatry (Ph.D. / PsyD).
- Current NYS registration as a Psychologist.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work 25 hours per week.
