Scope of Position: The NextStep Success Coach is responsible for collaborating with Philadelphia Works, the NextStep Evaluation Team, Training Providers, and the Good Jobs Challenge of Southeastern PA Support Service team to work with an estimated 200 individuals in training and post-graduation over the period of the project. The NextStep Success Coach is responsible for assessing need, identifying, and procuring necessary support service items, and distributing those items timely. The NextStep Success Coach is responsible for documenting all steps, receipts, and signatures throughout the process.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Establish a positive, high-performing culture by demonstrating EDSI’s core values
- Work directly with the local EDSI team in the implementation of NextStep Success services
- Maintain a positive partnership with funders, evaluator, and training providers by attending meetings, engaging in proactive communication, discussing best practices, and presenting program innovations
- Actively engage and adjust process flows and service delivery based on evaluating data metrics and reporting needs.
- Support the creation of a project management tracking tool that maps out project overview and scope, objectives and goals, project requirements, timeline, stakeholders, action items, deliverables, resources, and data for reporting
- Deliver to designated NextStep customers the following services: outreach, needs screening, identifying specific support service needs, distributing support services, and following up on post-graduation outcomes.
- Conduct in-person Rapid Pay Card usage orientation and distribution.
- Manage the procurement of support services, including and not limited to direct purchase in-person, online ordering, establishing business accounts for bulk orders, and obtaining money orders
- Obtain attendance records from all active participants and submit detailed learning stipend amounts per person to EDSI finance for Rapid Pay Card upload.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any changes in project plan
- Responsible for data tracking of every service provided and utilization of the grant-required systems of record
- Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvement
- Travel is required (up to 100%)

Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience with high-detail data entry and achieving audit success rates
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Experience in designing creative solutions for new programs to meet need
- Use language reflective of a commitment to diversity; demonstrate cultural competence
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
- Prior experience in case management and project management required
- Experience working in the Greater Philadelphia Region is preferred
- Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License
- Excellent writing and proofing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
