Outside Sales Representative - Plumbing

Are you a driven, relationship-focused sales professional with a passion for the plumbing and construction industry? EDOS Manufacturers' Reps., Inc. is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to represent leading plumbing manufacturers across the Stamford, CT and Fairfield County territory.

This is a field-based sales position responsible for growing market share and building strong partnerships across the plumbing channel. You will work closely with plumbing wholesalers, contractors, builders and developers to promote and specify the high-quality product lines that EDOS represents.

The salary for this position will be based on prior experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbing wholesale distributors.
• Call on plumbing contractors and mechanical contractors to drive product specifications.
• Promote manufacturer product lines to builders, remodeling contractors and developers throughout Fairfield County, CT.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Provide product knowledge, training and support to customers.
• Manage your territory independently, setting priorities and driving results.
• Close sales and contribute to overall company growth goals.
• Prior field experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside sales (plumbing, constructions or related industry preferred).
• Strong understanding of the plumbing wholesale and contractor market.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to close sales and achieve targets.
• Organized, dependable and driven to succeed.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field;

OR

• At least five years of related experience desired, will train a desired candidate. Salary will reflect experience and knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Driving throughout territory daily.
• Must be able to travel, some overnights.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
