Bank Branch Manager Responsibilities:
- Resolve complaints or account discrepancies and answer questions.
- Originate consumer loans efficiently and accurately
- Informing customers about bank products and services.
- Open new accounts
- Tracking, recording, reporting, and storing information related to transactions, bank supplies, and customers, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Keeping a clean, organized work area and a professional appearance.
- Handling currency, transactions, and confidential information in a responsible manner.
- Using software to track bank information and generate reports.
- Following all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.
- Will supervise and coordinate activities of branch employees to ensure department efficiency and accuracy
- Utilize all resources to create a fair and consistent schedule
- Mentors/coaches all tellers to ensure they are fully trained on teller responsibilities
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Bank Branch Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background and credit check.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Previous bank branch manager or bank supervisory experience
- Professional appearance and courteous manner.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Position operates in a professional office environment
- Routine use of standard office equipment, i.e. computers, phones, photocopiers, calculators, and filing cabinets
- Must be able to remain sedentary 50% of the time
- Employee will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
