Overview
We are a privately owned Veterinary clinic in beautiful Edmonds, looking for some amazing people to add to our team! We are a small GP practice for cats & dogs, one doctor per day, but generally busy. We have 3 clinic kitties that provide in house stress relief whenever needed!
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping to navigate their pets care, and enhance their overall experience.
We look for reliable people since our team is small, that are interested in a long term employment. Office and veterinary experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. If desired, this position could include cross training to provide coverage to veterinary assistant shifts too!
Duties
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person, ensuring a high level of service.
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry.
- Provide information about products and services, assisting customers with their purchases.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to create a positive impression during each interaction.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance client services.
- Support office operations by performing administrative tasks.
- Some general cleaning and organization of front lobby and exam rooms as needed.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly.
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with client services principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office setting while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong typing skills for efficient documentation during customer interactions.
- Ability to stay calm and collected in emergency or stressful situations.
