The Edmonds Historical Society & Museum is dedicated to engaging, educating, and inspiring the community by sharing stories from the past to illuminate the future. Situated in a restored 1910 Carnegie Library building, the museum resides at 118 5th Avenue North, in downtown Edmonds, WA. With a focus on fostering connections through history, the society plays an integral role in celebrating and preserving local heritage. The museum is a prominent cultural hub located just steps from the iconic fountain at Fifth and Main.
Role Description
The Museum runs the Edmonds Summer Farmers Market between May and October. We are looking for someone to help with setting the Market up and then shutting it down at the end of the day. The total time is about 3 hours each Saturday during the season, and will pay $175 per Saturday.
Qualifications
- Responsible
- Ability to lift a few street barriers
- Organized
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills
- Drivers license
- Experience working in a non-profit or educational setting is desirable
