The Digital Dental Workflow Coordinator will play a crucial part in coordinating the workflow of the digital department, ensuring efficient scheduling of cases, managing digital design timelines, and facilitating communication between the laboratory and doctor’s offices. The Digital Dental Workflow Coordinator will also be responsible for flexing into other positions within the department to assist when needed. The ideal candidate should have experience multitasking, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Duties And Accountabilities
Digital Dental Workflow Coordinator:
- Maintain a well-organized schedule to optimize the workflow of the digital department and meet production goals.
- Communicate regularly with dental technicians to provide updates on priorities and any changes in workload. Print prescriptions and make and receive calls from doctor’s offices.
- Take cases to other departments.
- Download and/or import digital impression cases and receive photos for cases.
- Flex to other areas within the department to assist with removing models from 3D printers, using CAD/CAM software to nest cases for 3D printing.
- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dental laboratory scheduling or a similar role within the dental industry preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling and tracking of dental cases.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software or systems to manage and track workflows.
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with the dental team, technicians, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of dental laboratory procedures, materials, and terminology.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and basic understanding of digital dental processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of intra oral scanners, and CAD/CAM.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dental restorations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required to engage with doctor’s offices in a professional and courteous manner.
- Previous scheduling and CAD/CAM experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
- Stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Repetitive motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, or fingers.
- Ability to convey information to various stakeholders with clarity and effectiveness.
