## **Salary: **$40/hr per instruction hour

## **Description: **Are you passionate about the future of STEM? Edmonds College is seeking subject matter experts to inspire the next generation of tech professionals and hobbyists alike.
In partnership with Black Rocket Productions (BR) and our Continuing Education (CE) department, we are looking for enthusiastic Instructors to teach youth-based camps (topics including Roblox, Minecraft, Coding) for the general community.
## **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
## **Required Qualifications:**
21 years of age or older preferred, 18 years of age required
College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal. College seniors with experience with groups of kids are also encouraged to apply.

- Prepare adequately by reviewing and internalizing the prepared curricula for the courses to be taught.
- Prepare for and deliver BR curriculum to groups of up to 22 campers with an additional experienced instructor.
- Familiarize oneself with the necessary software in order to educate and utilize it in the classroom.
- Implement the curriculum as written, adapting it as needed to improve the camper experience or accommodate individual campers.
- Provide leadership, energy and camp spirit, constantly assessing group dynamics and the needs of individual campers.
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in and outside the classroom.
