Role Description
This is a contract, commission-based role for a Music Supervisor. The Music Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing music selections for a variety of media projects, securing licensing agreements, and collaborating with artists, producers, and key stakeholders to ensure music aligns with creative objectives.
Key responsibilities include managing relationships with music publishers, labels and industry partners, identifying and pitching catalog music for licensing opportunities, negotiating terms, and staying current with trends in music, media, and entertainment to maximise placement potential.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Music Supervision and Music Licensing processes
- Knowledge in Music Production and various aspects of Music Publishing
- Understanding of the electronic dance music industry and trends
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with copyright law and intellectual property management
- A bachelor’s degree in music, business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in talent representation or working within the media/entertainment industry is a plus
