Janitorial/Housekeeping

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the EDM Enterprises LLC, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for hospital facilities and related areas. Quality customer service will be provided to the client at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Maintain Floors. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and buffing of flooring and stairs. Baseboards, corners, and wall/floor edges shall also be cleaned
• Remove Trash. Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, and clean receptacles
• Clean Interior Glass/Mirrors. Clean all interior glass, including glass in doors, partitions, and windows
• Cleaning Drinking Fountains. Clean and disinfect all porcelain and polished metal surfaces
• Restroom. Clean and disinfect all surfaces of sinks, toilet bowls, urinals, lavatories, dispensers. Disinfect all surfaces or partitions, stall walls, doors and wall areas. Wipe mirrors, cleans and sanitize floors
• Replenish Supplies. Paper towels, toilet paper, toilet seat covers, and liquid soap

Weekly job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Spot mopping the break rooms and restrooms. Floors are to be spot mopped daily.
• General Spot Cleaning. Perform spot cleaning as need of walls, vents, doors, light switches and fixtures
• General Dusting. All surfaces must be dusted or cleaned to eliminate dust collection

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months experience preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
