Roadside Herbicide Applicator

Position Summary:

Edko, LLC is seeking candidates with experience in vegetation management or a related field. A background in forestry, arboriculture or a related field is beneficial but not required. Personnel are expected to perform herbicide applications along rights-of-way and roadsides. Operators will plan, direct, and coordinate application efforts, and interface with other personnel and customers.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in inclement weather

• Ability to interpret and follow maps

• Ability to use a laptop and handheld computers

• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required

• The ability to work independently for long hours and occasionally out of town with overnight travel

• Vegetation management experience

Compensation:

Starting compensation is based on experience, but ranging from $18-23. Company will pay for travel expenses while working out of town.
