CareerTakes is sourcing on behalf of a leading consulting organization seeking a Project Management Analyst to support project teams delivering strategic initiatives for government and enterprise clients.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys organizing complex workstreams, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects stay on track. You’ll play a key role in maintaining project documentation, tracking deliverables, and communicating progress across multiple stakeholders.
The position is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in-office in the New York City area.
- Coordinate project activities including meetings, agendas, notes, and follow-up on action items
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure progress stays on schedule
- Maintain project documentation, shared folders, and version control using collaboration tools such as SharePoint
- Manage project trackers including action item logs, risk logs, issue logs, and change control logs
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and summaries for project stakeholders
- Compile project data and generate recurring reports to highlight trends or potential risks
- Assist with developing project plans, templates, and process documentation
- Monitor dependencies and escalate risks or delays when necessary
- Serve as a central point of contact for project updates, documentation, and coordination
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 1 year of experience in project management, program management, or related roles (internships included)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience supporting project meetings, documentation, and task tracking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required due to project requirements
- Candidates must live within 50 miles of the New York City area
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CAPM
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, or collaboration tools
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or Microsoft Lists
- Familiarity with project dashboards, trackers, and KPI monitoring
Estimated salary range: $81,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
