What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional SPED 1:1 position at Edkey, Inc.?
•Assist the teacher with planned activities including instructional programs.
•Record and file statistical data, grades, and reports.
•Assist in preparing various instructional materials for daily instruction as planned by the teacher
•Assist the teacher in maintaining individual student records.
•Assist in supervising students in the classroom, lunchroom, and on the playground under the supervision of a staff member.
•Presents subject matter to students, utilizing variety of methods and techniques such as lecture, discussion, and supervised role-playing, under the supervision of the teacher.
•Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts. Confers with parents on progress of students.
•Perform other job related duties as assigned.
This will be a 10-month position
Required Qualifications:
• Sixty (60) college course credits from an accredited institution of higher learning OR
• Proof of successfully passing Para Professional Praxis Assessment (approved by the ADE) along with a High School
diploma or GED OR
• Associates college degree or higher
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance card required
