What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant- Sequoia Pathfinder Academy- Verrado position at Edkey, Inc.?
Essential Functions:
· Receive and assess incoming calls and visitors. Direct to appropriate staff person or record and relay messages.
· Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.
· Receive and distribute/direct deliveries.
· Maintain accurate and complete sign-in/sign-out procedures for on-site staff and visitors. Notify supervisors of staff absences/delays within 30 minutes of daily start time.
· Assist with clerical tasks, including typing, filing, proofreading, and maintenance of service logs and data entry.
· Ensure that common areas are equipped with office supplies as needed.
· Demonstrate an understanding of Edkey’s Core Values: TICK- Transparency, Integrity, Communication, Kindness
· Model positive character virtues and habits. Assist students in developing positive moral and performance character attributes.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Principal/School Leader.
Desired Qualifications:
· Education: High School Diploma or GED.
· Certifications: Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Required*
· Experience: 6 months in a similar role, preferred.
· Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask when necessary. Demonstrates attention to detail and necessary expertise to complete all tasks. Able to work independently, analyze information skillfully and in a timely manner, as well as make decisions where appropriate. Ability to communicate cooperatively and constructively with other staff, students and parents in a multi-cultural environment. Ability to remain pleasant and helpful under sometimes stressful circumstances.
