Job Overview
The Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accurate receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping of products. This individual will supervise warehouse staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and help improve warehouse processes to support company growth.
This is a working supervisor position. The successful candidate will spend time both leading the team and actively participating in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support warehouse staff in daily operations.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
- Assist with warehouse organization and space utilization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Train and coach warehouse employees on procedures and best practices.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, and Management teams.
- Assist with implementation and ongoing use of inventory and warehouse management systems, including NetSuite.
- Monitor productivity and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate freight shipments and communicate with carriers as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of warehouse leadership, supervisory, or inventory management experience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse software systems.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is a plus.
- Ability to lead a small team and foster a positive work environment.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
