Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Bedford, MA. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients facing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Core responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care. The candidate will also maintain accurate clinical documentation and educate patients and caregivers on interventions and strategies for ongoing support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and addressing Speech-related challenges
- Expertise in Dysphagia management, including assessment and treatment strategies
- Knowledge and experience in managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred
- Experience in working with veteran populations is a plus
