Position Description: Weekend Leasing Consultant
Edison47 is looking for a Part-Time (Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays) Leasing Consultant for the Tacoma, WA area.
Compensation: $23-$25/hour DOE Leasing Bonuses

What we're looking for: The Leasing Consultant would be responsible for leasing apartments in accordance with owners objectives. Responsible for operating and maintaining electronic records, leasing apartments, drafting and executing contracts, negotiating pricing, handling money, providing a quality living environment, establishing a positive working relationship with the residents and other team members. Additional tasks or duties that may be assigned as required to facilitate the efficient management of the property.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet, tour and close sales with potential residents
- Maintaining all daily paperwork such as guest cards and entering in information into the computer system.
- Walking vacant units to make sure they are show ready
- Processing rental applications verifying income, credit and residency history
- Keeping an active knowledge of Fair Housing laws
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment leasing or strong sales background is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be a team player, able to multi-task, and handle confrontational situations
- Experience with computers, internet and Microsoft office software. Yardi experience is a plus
- The ability to work weekends
- Must maintain a neat, professional appearance
- Punctuality and great attendance are a must
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
