Duties
- Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using warehouse management systems such as RF scanners and AS400.
- Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform stocking, picking & packing, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Conduct materials handling activities with mechanical knowledge to ensure proper packaging and safe movement of goods.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, crane operation, and equipment use.
- Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating order picking, load & unload procedures, and inventory management activities.
- Assist in warehouse supervision duties when needed by overseeing daily operations and ensuring team productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of inventory management and materials handling procedures.
- Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as RF scanners and AS400 for inventory tracking.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
