Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Secretary role based in Edison, NJ. The Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations within the organization. Daily tasks include handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, managing records, organizing meetings, and delivering excellent customer service. The role may also involve assisting with executive administrative tasks and other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the school district.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
- Strong Communication skills, including verbal and written correspondence and active listening
- Experience in Company Secretarial Work, such as managing schedules, meeting minutes, and record-keeping
- Background as an Executive Administrative Assistant or similar roles, with ability to manage high-level administrative tasks
- Customer Service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and community members
- Time management and multitasking abilities to handle competing priorities effectively
- Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration or related fields are a plus
- Previous experience working in an educational environment is a strong advantage
