What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLC Programmer position at Edison Smart®?
This role is responsible for the design, programming, testing, commissioning, and support of industrial automation and control systems across a variety of applications, including refrigeration, HVAC, and energy systems.
Salary up to $125,000
- Proficient PLC Development experience - Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens.
- Proven experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC/DCS systems.
- Support hardware selection, circuit design, sensor integration, and control panel development.
- Solid understanding of Industrial networking protocols
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience programming PLCs and HMIs using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, GE, Opto 22, FactoryTalk, and Wonderware.
- Hands-on experience with industrial control system design, including sensors, networking, and circuit design.
Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
