Edison Smart are looking to hire an experienced Senior Building Automation Engineer with Niagara N4 certification to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of Building Automation Systems (BAS) for a growing data center company in Northern Virginia USA. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience delivering complex smart building solutions across commercial, industrial, or institutional environments
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect Building Management Systems (BMS) using Niagara N4 framework
- Develop control strategies for HVAC, lighting, energy management, and integrated systems
- Produce detailed engineering documentation (drawings, sequences of operation, I/O schedules)
- Develop, configure, and deploy Niagara N4 stations, graphics, and dashboards
- Integrate third-party systems via protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and MQTT)
- Lead projects from concept through commissioning and handover
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Requirements:
- Tridium Niagara / N4 Certification
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering Degree holder
- Previous Data Center / Mission Critical or Federal project experience
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
