Overview
**Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm**
We are seeking a reliable, serious detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This position requires strong communication skills, ability to multitask and dependability. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential support to both patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Process incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and appointments.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
- Perform insurance verification and manage patient documentation.
- Review and maintain accurate health information management records.
- Assist with filing and organizing patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical office receptionist or similar role preferred
- Bilingual- English and Spanish highly preferred
- Proficiency in documentation review and health information management.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and staff.
