Edison Home Health Care - SPRING VALLEY, NY is seeking a Bilingual Creole Field Recruiter/ Coordinator to join its growing team. Position is Full- Time. Reports to HR Director.
Responsibilities:
· Recruits Home Health Aides for current and future openings.
· Develops and manages a proactive recruiting plan for assigned regions.
· Creates and plans to achieve ongoing improvement in results.
· Identifies new, effective recruiting sources.
· Promotes positive community relations and develops/maintains contacts with Home Care Training schools, placement agencies, social service agencies, and other Home Care educational institutions to promote the agency.
· Explain to students the required documents needed to apply
· Will check Exchange to ensure applications were taken for those students who confirm applying with Edison
· Optimizes existing and future recruiting offices.
· Promotes the employee referral program.
· Attend job fairs for HHAs and PCAs.
· Establish strong rapport with candidates and Hiring Managers to prioritize the agency’s needs.
· Must meet a specific quota every month.
Requirements:
- Bilingual Creole/ English
- High School Graduate with some College education preferred. One or two years of experience of office work in a health care setting preferred
- Experience working with HHA Exchange software
- Good telephone, organizational, typing and communication skills necessary. Ability to maintain accurate schedules, notes and records.
- Computer (Basic) literate, good interpersonal skills.
- Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
