Long Term Substitue Teacher

The Long-Term Substitute Teacher provides instructional services to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Under the direction of the site administrator, the substitute is responsible for implementing lesson plans, maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher collaborates with school staff to support student achievement and uphold district policies, procedures, and educational goals. This position requires the ability to deliver effective instruction aligned with California State Standards, assess student progress, and adapt to varying classroom needs. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher is expected to maintain regular communication with school administration, parents, and support staff to ensure student success during the teacher’s absence. Appropriate California Credential Required. TSPL for Single Subject English or Single Subject English Credential Multiple Subject Credential.
